In response to Cyrille Regis, BBC 2 repeat the Adrian Chiles documentary, Whites v Blacks, How Football Changed A Nation, unbelievable true story, worth watching

Review of the rather splendid `Hornal` album is in the works too.

There is a three-part article coming up for E.L.O (Eldorado, A New World Record and Out Of The Blue). Look out for it soon.

Stoke City condemned 2 relegation. Who is the new manager? Paul Lambert.

Agreed Reyno about Clyde Best, further back is the story of Walter Tull which is quite heartbreaking, links to Northampton and lived in Rushden.

Big loss is Cyrille, only short time at Wolves, but I was at the Peterborough game where he scored the last minute winner, Cyrille and Laurie C, what a team.

I think many people forget guys like West Ham's Clyde Best whenever the subject of the impact of black footballers in the English game crops up. He was just as good as the West Brom trio years b4

Cyrille was part of the ground breaking so called 'three degrees' who did so much to break down racial barriers in Football back in the late 70's.R.I.P

GDM Partners and Support
GDM would like to express its thanks to these following platforms, which allow us to deliver content and support across our website.

Lonex is a global Internet Service Provider, which GDM has used successfully for many years. Apart from a brief move to an alternative ISP in mid 2017 which ended disastrously, we then returned to Lonex and based our site/domain in their UK operation.

PHP Fusion
PHP Fusion is the brains-trust behind GDM. We have used this open-source Content Management System for over a decade, and despite thinking about the possibility of moving to something else, the sheer volume of our content would make that move highly improbable. Besides, I like what I see in the forthcoming version 9.0, so all is well on that front.

Nextcloud is an open-source cloud storage system, and is free of charge. We have installed it on the GDM domain, and it acts like our very own Mega or Zippyshare repository, without having to pay any additional costs, or be capped by a volume/Gb storage restriction. Nextcloud does a lot more than just provide file storage, and in time, we might look to extend its capability.

Though not a fan of the Google buiness model, there is still a load of video material that we reference within our articles.

Daily Motion
DM is or preferred video provider. GDM will look to upload our own videos to Daily Motion instead of YouTube.

The GDM writing team utilises an online/cloud based Project Management system called Redbooth. It helps keep our workload visible (as in, who is writing what), among other things.

We use Facebook to promote GDM through the 'GDM AOR and Metal' page on that site.

We use Twitter to promote GDM through the 'Glorydazemusic' channel on that site.

These are the main platforms we deal with. I don't count record labels, because we support them more than they support us.
