Winger - 1988 Winger
The late eighties hard rock scene was populated with as many mediocre acts as talented ones, Winger by a wide margin one of the latter. Mixing the elements of party rock with AOR wizardry, the bands success was guaranteed, especially with the larger than life Winger at the helm, one of the last rock gods of the modern era.

Winger - 1990 In The Heart Of The Young
It's been ages since I've given this CD a dusting off the shelf. A commercial success back in the day but 23 years later I'm not convinced that this has stood the test of time to be honest.. Read on..

Winger - 1993 Pull
With 'Pull' it was a total revamp for Winger, with a serioudly good producer in Mike Shipley on the desk. 6 months in the studio and reduced to a trio with the departure of Paul Taylor, 'Pull' was all about heavy rock, committed lyrics and a pristine sound.

Winger - 2009 Karma
As one of the most acclaimed releases of 2009 it's taken a while to get to 'Karma' here at Glory Daze, but better late than never.

Winger - 2014 Better Days Comin'
It appears Winger can do no wrong when it comes to their rare forays into the studio and this is another example of hard rock precision from one of the more talented bands still remaining in the genre.

Winger, Kip - 1996 This Conversation Seems Like A Dream
Not exactly your fluffy hair metal from days gone by.. that's for sure. Gone are the big hairstyles, the typical eighties heavy rocker attire as we saw with the band Winger - in stark contrast to the cut-back trimmings of Kip's solo material. Thoughtful melodic rock, deep, atmospheric, stylish, and (for want of a better word) cool.

Winger, Kip - 2000 Songs From The Ocean Floor
In short, 'Songs From The Ocean Floor' is a lush, mature album drenched in great songs, impressive in its scope and ambition and is a world away from anything Kip ever did with Winger.
