Cars, The - 1978 The Cars
G-DAZE would be only half a site if no mention was ever made of this great band The Cars. Who could forget the storming debut of this Boston band back in 1978.

Cars, The - 1979 Candy-O
Released in June 1979 with a stunning cover by renowned pin-up artist Alberto Vargas and backed by a summer-ready single 'Let's Go'; reaction to the album from the press was lukewarm at best but yet there's a lot of appeal to 'Candy-O'

Cars, The - 1984 Heartbeat City
If there was ever an album that was representative of the mid 80's MTV era, then The Cars 'Heartbeat City' was probably it. Helping matters was the Mutt Lange production job, and a battery of songs which made the Billboard charts. All in all, one of the stand-out albums of 1984.

Cars, The - 1987 Door To Door
'Door To Door' was possibly the band's lowest selling album, although it wasn't a bad effort by their lofty standards, but the creative fire was on the verge of being extinguished.

Cars, The - 2011 Move Like This
It was always on the cards that Bostonian faves The Cars would return to their reserved parking space held for them since their industrious days of the 80's. The band have decided to return to the sound from the 70's, and even though Roy Thomas Baker is not involved, sonically, Ric Ocasek has returned them to the era where their songs were fun and interesting.

Orr, Benjamin - 1986 The Lace
It's a shame we are only graced by the one album, as it is a pretty cruisy set.. just forget the fact that there is no drummer, 'The Lace' is populated by a heap of programming, which does detract slightly.
