Marx, Richard - 1987 Richard Marx
Marx became a pop chart idol and consolidated it with 1989's even bigger 'Repeat Offender' follow up, with two more no 1 singles to its name. Marx was sitting comfortably alongside Michael Bolton as champion of America's lite rock stations, a position that remains to this day!

Marx, Richard - 1989 Repeat Offender
'Repeat Offender' was even more successful than the debut going triple platinum within a few months and eventually selling over 5 million copies in the US alone. For its sheer musicality and quality of song-writing (it yielded 5 hit singles) this album easily merits its status as one of the greatest AOR albums of all time.

Marx, Richard - 1991 Rush Street
The late 80's AOR scene wouldn't quite be the same without mention of the name Richard Marx. At thirteen tracks and 65 minutes playing time, Marx's third album 'Rush Street' is a big listen. It's a varied listen too, which will take a while to consume. Hope you've got the time!

Marx, Richard - 2012 Inside My Head
For most listeners stuck in an 80's timewarp, it's nice to know that Richard Marx is not lost to us.. far from it. Still capable of great songwriting, and mixing it up style-wise as you heard with these songs, 'Inside My Head' is a subtle reminder to all that class doesn't just disappear overnight.
