I was a bit cranky last week, waiting for various things to happen with the website transition. God it's good to be back. Didn't Gary Glitter sing a song like that? dogrun

OK, all the YouTube videos are working again. Just use the YT link, and then encase in tags [ youtube] at the start, [/ youtube] at the end. Cool. Thumbs Up

Frank Marino (And Mahogany Rush) - 1977 World Anthem
There's nothing here that truly stands out as being exceptional. From my perspective, the material here was too much of a mixed bag.

Mahogany Rush - 1976 Mahogany Rush IV
Alongside Rush, Pat Travers Band pre Pat Thrall, Robin Trower, Truth And Janey, Mahogany Rush were one of the pre-eminent power trios of the 70's bar none, and I'll admit to finding and appreciating some of their earlier works, like this one.

Marino, Frank (and Mahogany Rush) - 1980 Whats Next
Excellent studio set from Canadian guitar ace Frank Marino. Probably his best effort.

Marino, Frank (And Mahogany Rush) - 2000 Eye Of The Storm
The material is nothing like the barnstorming stuff from his glory days. Frank's sound fuses jazz, psychedelic, fusion, blues and progressive angles, and tone wise, his guitar has a bit of Eric Johnson, Pat Thrall, Joe Satriani, Carlos Santana and other modern day axe-slingers in it.
