Chris, is there such an album? Maybe we should get Alun onto the case. He loves those oddball albums.

Like Froome, my 5k and 10k times are now in doubt, as it seems I took too many puffs of my inhaler before the races. In all seriousness it sounds pretty odd that an inhaler used by millions has such an

Canít believe Pope Francis 2015 release, Wake Up, has not been reviewed yet here at GDM?

Man, I really thought Froome was above any doubt, but this will always hang like a shadow now. Damn! Unlikely to win Sports Personality of the Year on the Beeb now too.

Look what happened when the Pope signed to Infinity? Brought the company down and certainly ruined TKO's career. Brad Sinsel probably not a fan.

My next Blog will be about the year of 2017, and the unveiling of the sexual deviants. From Harvey Weinstein to Dustin Hoffman.. and more..

Lake - 1979 Paradise Island
Beyond the 1970's, Lake went on to release several more fine albums and retain their popularity in Germany, but for my money the first four records are where it's at, in particular their third - 'Paradise Island'.

Lake - 1981 Hot Day
All in all a somewhat uneven album, but I would argue that the standout tracks are REAL standouts! Figure out the rest of the equation yourself!

Lake - 1984 No Time For Heroes
Following a live release (Live - On the Run, 1982) few seem to have seen and much less heard the German band Lake returning in 1984 with the album No Time For Heroes.

Lake - 1985 Voices
Probably not the Lake album with the greatest singular tracks, but all the better as a long player. Recommended!

Lake - 1986 So What
'So What' would prove to be the final Lake album, not counting the compilation 'In the Midnight' and various later collections. In contrast to its predecessor 'Voices', 'So What', however, saw the band returning to a more conventional rock sound.

Lake - 2014 Wings Of Freedom
The music here is prime-time Lake, but the whole thing is given energy and sonic incision by Alex Conti's guitar solos. Without them, I think the album would have faded into a melodic wash without much contrast and counterpoint.
