Barclay James Harvest - 1981 Turn Of The Tide
For Barclay James Harvest, 1981's 'Turn Of The Tide' ushered in the keyboard drenched AOR approach that would continue until 1997, and did so with some considerable style.

Barclay James Harvest - 1983 Ring Of Changes
Barclay James Harvest ventured into AOR territory during the early 80's. 'Ring Of Changes' was one of those efforts, a far cry from their early 70's prog days.

Barclay James Harvest - 1984 Victims Of Circumstance
Overall a very strong AOR statement from BJH and a twin album with 'Ring Of Changes', this could arguably be called their commercial zenith.

Barclay James Harvest - 1987 Face To Face
Having listened to most of their 80's albums, I would say categorically that AORsters should really find the time to get acquainted with BJH's back catalog from this era.

Barclay James Harvest - 1993 Caught In The Light
'Caught In The Light' is a very keyboard based album, giving the music a light, airy and dare I say 'cosmic' feel to the entire affair much like the Rodney Matthews art that graces the cover.

Barclay James Harvest - 1997 River Of Dreams
This would be the last BJH album to feature the definitive line-up Lees, Holroyd, Pritchard, so is a bit of an epitaph as such.

Woolstenholme, Woolly - 1980 Maestoso
'Maestoso' is a beautifully executed progressive pop album and in many ways out-performs the 80's efforts of his former colleagues in Barclay James Harvest.
