In response to Cyrille Regis, BBC 2 repeat the Adrian Chiles documentary, Whites v Blacks, How Football Changed A Nation, unbelievable true story, worth watching

There is a three-part article coming up for E.L.O (Eldorado, A New World Record and Out Of The Blue). Look out for it soon.

Agreed Reyno about Clyde Best, further back is the story of Walter Tull which is quite heartbreaking, links to Northampton and lived in Rushden.

Big loss is Cyrille, only short time at Wolves, but I was at the Peterborough game where he scored the last minute winner, Cyrille and Laurie C, what a team.

I think many people forget guys like West Ham's Clyde Best whenever the subject of the impact of black footballers in the English game crops up. He was just as good as the West Brom trio years b4

Cyrille was part of the ground breaking so called 'three degrees' who did so much to break down racial barriers in Football back in the late 70's.R.I.P

Taylor, B.E (Group) - 1982 Innermission
'Innermission', Billy's first record, also featured the Wild Cherry duo of Iris and Mark Avsec in the production chair. Stylistically, Billy offers us a lighter radio rock/AOR style similar to early Stan Bush and in parts Rick Springfield.

Taylor, B.E (Group) - 1983 Love Won The Fight
This is an album I admit to dreaming of owning as a youngster, simply due to the connotations of the albums title and a solo male AOR artist. 'Love Won The Fight' screams out to anyone, particularly a lad having just heard Michael Bolton and reading Taylor's glowing reference in the notorious Heavy Metal And Hard Rock Encyclopedia!

Taylor, B.E (Group) - 1986 Our World
Billy's vocal style around about the era of his two MCA albums 'Love Won The Fight' and 'Innermission' and this Epic release 'Our World' was an amazing cross of Steve Perry and Michael Bolton! A truly excellent voice, and complimented by a well rehearsed team of guys who came from the well known seventies outfit Crack The Sky.
