Not a lot of movement in the Rock Candy reissue world. However, our Catalog page for them has been updated. Refer Menu: Other> Catalogs > Rock Candy Records.

I read somewhere that Donald Trump watches 8 hours of television every day. How is that possible? Is he scanning for fake news?

Sophie Turner (Sansa) says GOT Season 8 final won't air until 2019! That's a long wait!

Good results for both Burnley and West Ham overnight. But who can stop the runaway train Man City?

Haha! They get paid to try and intellectualise a sport that has no characteristics of being an intellectual pastime, like many sports...just play the game and cut the waffle.

Arcangel - 1983 Arcangel
I read the review of this album back in 1983 when it first came out. If I recall, the reviewer said.. 'Jeff Cannata sounds like he's been locked in a room with a crateful of Kansas albums!' or something to that effect. In fact he even said it sounded like the 3rd Boston album. Well as time would have it, some twenty plus years after the event, some of the comparisons haven't quite rung true.

Interview with Jeff Cannata - April 2002.

Arcangel - 2013 Harlequins Of Light
The elements which made the first Arcangel record so good were the bombastic nature of the music and the pompous ideals expressed. Sure, it was a different time, but there is none of that here though. 'Harlequins Of Light' is still good for what it is, it's just not what I was expecting. Nor is it what I would call a 'hard rock' album..

Cannata - 1988 Images Of Forever
This album is not as bombastic as 'Arcangel', but still has masses of appeal to the typical AOR fan. Jeff Cannata has taken a few pages of the Yes songbook a la '70125' and 'Big Generator' and rewritten them for himself. 'Images Of Forever' a hybrid of hi-tech AOR, pomp and modern prog tendencies which Cannata would further explore on later albums.

Zoldar & Clark - 1977 Zoldar & Clark
Zoldar & Clark. Who is ths mysterious duo? Sounds like an episode of Superman. Maybe a cartoon comic? No such luck I'm afraid. Z&C are in fact the Connecticut prog band Jasper Wrath, with connections to Jeff Cannata.
