Renaissance - Ashes are burning (1973)
Another one that deserves to be part of GD ...

Renaissance were an English progressive rock band, founded in 1969 and most notable for their progressive rock classic 'Ashes Are Burning', which was their 4th album. It was released 1973 by EMI-Sovereign Records (UK). The CD was issued much later, in 1993 by Repertoire Records. The same label also reissued it in 2006 in apparently much better quality:

Annie Haslam (vocals)
Michael Dunford (guitar)

Jon Camp (bass, vocals)
Terence Sullivan (drums, percussion)
We've covered a couple things from the band, but nothing from Haslam's classic era- yet. We'll get to this and others eventually...
