Yep in Argent, especially as Rod Argent and Jim we’re cousins.

Background
Here's round 2 of the Inglorious book of rock. These guys landed on Frontiers doorstep last year, to a lot of fanfare, pomp and ceremony. Taking a few lines out of the songbook already written by Thunder (UK) and early Whitesnake, Inglorious aren't setting new standards in the hard rock genre, instead delivering a colourful variant on what has gone before. Perhaps a touch heavier than recently reviewed Black Star Riders, these guys are all attitude, and bash and crash their way into your aural senses in an unforgiving manner.

The Songs
If you thought last year's debut was brilliant, then a healthy plate of seconds is on the cards with the ingeniously titled 'II'. Of course, for me, the faster paced tracks gets my nod of approval. These include: 'Taking The Blame', the rollicking 'Read All About It', 'No Good For You' and the effortless 'High Class Woman'. A couple of slower rockers such as 'Making Me Pay', 'Black Magic' and the Whitesnake inspired 'I Got A Feeling' all add fuel to the fire, while the album is softened by the two ballads 'Change Is Coming' and 'Faraway'.

In Summary
The album was mixed by Kevin Shirley and sounds like it was indeed handled by a master. After a 2016 year which saw them share the stage with Steel Panther and Last In Line among others, 2017 looks like another bumper year lies ahead for Nathan James and Inglorious.
