Background
Another obscure find for GDM readers. I believe these guys came out of the state of Maryland, and were the forerunner to the band Quade, who released two albums in the 1989-1990 period. Quade, Wilelt and Kersse are the three lead guys here when it comes to the songwriting, while Kersse's keyboards are all over this like a blanket. I like the music, though Quade's vocals are an acquired taste, singing in a higher register. The songs are varied, and a little bit of a mixed bag to be honest. The prog like opener 'Sheik Of The Sand' despite the dopey name, was a reasonable opener, much better was the second-up 'Human Storm', which was a bit more settled and mid-paced. while the flighty guitar work on 'Mama's Little Boy' was good too. 'Party Attack' at the end was very strange. WTF? That track also featured on the movie soundtrack 'Redneck Zombies' (1987), so that may have been the reason for its difference. As mentioned, the band morphed into Quade, with only Anthony Gene Quade and Kimo Kersse continuing on.
