Yep in Argent, especially as Rod Argent and Jim we’re cousins.

Didn't Rodford also play in Argent and Charlie too?

Jim Rodford, bass player, The Kinks, Phoenix (I think?), but I remember him with The Zombies, saw live a while back. RIP

Revoltons - 2003 Night Visions

Andro - vocals
Andrea Corona - keyboards
Alex Corona - guitars
Alessandro Carli - bass
Giorgio 'Pittore' Murer - drums & percussion

There are a ton of Italian melodic metal bands, most of which I don't have time for thanks to the annoying vocals. Apart from a select few I find Italian melodic metal singers to be below par and with horrible accents. And that is how I view Revoltons, one of the latest and worst releases from Limb Music. The label is known for releasing solid product but every now and again even the best can have a bad day. Limb have lost the plot a little on this one. Put it this way, I cannot sit and listen to this the whole way through. I've tried, but singer Andro makes me want to curl up and make it all go away.

The Songs
Yes, it is pretty dire. He is not the only culprit. The music is uninspiring. Very fast, a touch progressive, but mostly all over the place. There is very little structure and the performance is way too loose. Compared to the likes of Rhapsody, Labyrinth and Secret Sphere these guys are amateurish.

In Summary
I am at a loss to hear what Limb Music found appealing about Revoltons. There is very little to say about 'Inner Visions' other than keep clear! The Revoltons? No, more like The Revolting!

Produced by: Luigi Stefanini, Marino De Angeli and Revoltons
