Background
Bad Edge were a shortlived band from The Netherlands. Their sound is quite difficult to pinpoint, mixing hard rock with blues and boogie pretensions, coupled with new wave leanings, and dropping into 60's era pop/rock a la The Rolling Stones and The Kinks. The Nederpop scene from this era was an obvious influence, as it generated bands such as The New Adventures and Hollander, although both those bands are superior in sound quality. Guitarist Jack Poels would later move on to Dutch blues rockers Rowwen Heze, who are a major band in their homeland.
