This is a beaut little 5 tracker from Californian based FX. Released on the small Q Up Arts label, this is a primetime progressive rock/AOR crossover, in the mould of World Trade. There are two keyboardists in the band (Doug Morton and Kevin Monahan) while the best known member of this outfit is drummer Dave DuCey, who has since played with Warrior, World War III (Mandy Lion's band) and more recently National Dust. You won't find anything on the Net about these guys (believe me, I've already tried). I've slapped a track up on our Jukebox for you to listen to.

Hi George, actually you can find something on the net and much more easily than one might think as both albums can be bought on retrospect records. From what I saw, these are reisues by the band.Smile

correct, Retrospect is selling off the last of FX's original pressings of their 2 releases (IN THE SKY and IN MOTION) and shortly be re-issuing them on our own label (remastered with possible bonus tracks). I agree George, this band is great which is why i just had to track them down. I will try and get you a copy of their full length album 'IN MOTION' from 1987. Doug Morton is a super nice guy and currently does New Age style keyboard work.

Well I already knew about the Retrospect connection (thanks Aaron), but as Aaron says they are original pressings only at this stage. 'In Motion' has been much harder to source, I hope RR can get this one out soon as a 2 on 1.
