Background
Small time Oklahoma based band who released this one off effort back in 1981. Not much on them around the Internet, though our erstwhile colleague Eric did review this LP for his old website NightWorks a few years back, where comparisons to Gulliver, Styx and Love Affair (the Cleveland pop rock band, not the 60's outfit) were made.

The photos of the band on the back cover are pretty bad.

This has been on the want list for many years. Finally acquired a copy of it in the past few months and it was worth the wait. The opening 'Tell The World' is a killer start complete with big choruses, driving rhythms and a nice sax solo. 'The Lonely One' has great guitar work and is another standout. The only let down on Side One is the 50's inflected rocker '(Just What Your Love) Means To Me'. Side Two starts with the ballad, 'Your Fool Again', which has a catchy harmony chorus and another solid sax solo. 'Promises' is a pomp gem with Styx influences shining through. More pomp action can be found on the fast paced 'Never Met A Girl (Like You)', another stellar cut. Zeabra is a scarce private pressing that delivers a very enjoyable set of AOR and Pomp.
